LE STUDIUM Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies has developped innovative programmes enabling senior researchers and scientists to access fellowships in the Centre-Val de Loire region for residencies from 3 to 12 months. The institute operates in close collaboration with  research  and higher education institutions of the Centre-Val de Loire region. The institute is actively supported by local, regional, and national governments, universities, research institutions, and companies especially across the regional smart specialisation "Ambition Research & Development" programmes. Every year LE STUDIUM launches an annual call for application, the SMART LOIRE VALLEY PROGRAMME, open to all scientific disciplines. This programme received H2020 co-funding from the European Union for research and innovation as part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie, Contract No. 665790 between 2015 and 2021.
