The GSN is the teaching entity for the Munich Center for Neurosciences - Brain & Mind (MCN), offering an integrated program of study which takes students from their bachelor to a master or doctoral degree.

The GSN is an interdisciplinary institution of the LMU Munich supported by the German Excellence Initiative (Wissenschaftsrat and Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG), and is managed as a distinct institution governed by an interdisciplinary scientific board. The GSN awards a degree independent from the traditional university structure, which you can read more about here.
