About the employer

We research new cybernetic methods and procedures for the optimal control and management of complex systems and transfer them into innovative operational management applications, for example for cognitive energy systems and in water supply. Our solutions can be found worldwide in the most diverse applications of our clients. These include power plant deployment planning, operational management of energy storage facilities, power grids, virtual power plants, water supply networks and barrage cascades.

Localization solutions and autonomous robotic platforms for industry are another focus. With the technology carrier DEDAVE we have set and successfully marketed standards for deep-sea underwater vehicles. As a new topic, pioneering developments in the field of UV-C disinfection are being driven forward together with SMEs.

Our excellent research and development work is consistently and cross-sectorally tailored to the future topic of "digitalization". In the field of public contract research, we are excellently positioned at state, federal and European level.

We have a research infrastructure for indoor and underwater robotics, a pressure test rig for deep-sea components and several platforms on the topic of "digitization of energy supply". Our services there range from energy (data) management solutions to test rigs for IT security for critical infrastructure.
