Your Responsibilities
- Autonomous research and publication activities in the field of social-geographical research on cities and caring infrastructures
- Participation in existing research projects and development of new research projects as part of urban HEAP
- Possibility to work on a habilitation project
- Participation in the application process for third-party funded projects
- Independent teaching of courses and conducting of examinations
- Professional and organizational supervision of students of the department of geography and regional science
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
- Completed doctorate/PhD in the area of social geography
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- Very good skills within the field of qualitative methods in social and cultural studies
- Enjoyment of scientific work and working with students
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Track record of working in transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams
