Postdoctoral Fellowships in Biomedicine - Call for Proposals is open
IMIBIC-P2Med is a new Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Fellowship Programme at the Maimonides Biomedical Research Institute of Cordoba (IMIBIC), Córdoba, Spain. Offers 6 Fellowships of up to 3 years. The Fellowships provide relevant research training to researchers with wide range of different profiles, whether basic or clinical researchers, bioengineers or bioinformaticians, to improve their employability and career prospects in the field of Personalised and Precision Medicine.
To apply, the applicants must present their curricular merits and propose an innovative research project in line with one of the scientific programmes of IMIBIC and the research lines of the IMIBIC host group (see list of host groups: https://p2med.imibic.org/host-groups/).
The scientific programmes are:
1. Active aging and Frailty
2. Nutrition and endocrine and metabolic diseases
3. Infectious and immunological diseases and organ transplantation
4. Cancer (Oncology and Oncohematology)
5. Chronic and Inflammatory Diseases
The fellows will be hosted by the Consolidated and Emerging research groups of IMIBIC. All fellowships will be based in IMIBIC, with optional research stays of up to 6 months in our Partner Organisations (see: https://p2med.imibic.org/partner-organisations/).
Who can apply?
The Fellowships are targeted to Recognized Researchers (R2 based on the research profile descriptors of the European Commission) of any nationality.
Eligible applicants must, at the time of the deadline of the call, be in possession of a PhD, or demonstrate having at least 4 years of full time equivalent postgraduate research experience.
Eligible applicants shall not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline of the call.
