Join our International Max Planck Research School for your PhD in Quantum Science and Technology starting 2023!
The IMPRS-QST, based in Munich, is a joint program of the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the Technical University of Munich. It offers an excellent and coherent graduate program across the fields of atomic physics, quantum optics, solid-state physics, material science, quantum information theory, and quantum many-body systems. PhD students are supported in developing research at the highest quality level in a stimulating international and interdisciplinary environment, and also receive a structured education in QST, including basic and specialized courses, as well as annual summer schools, soft skills courses and industry contact.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
The IMPRS-QST is committed to recruiting extraordinary students from diverse backgrounds and meeting them with openness and respect. We explicitly encourage female candidates to apply and welcome students from all countries!
Applicants must have completed a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with very good grades.
