This CRC connects three interdisciplinary and internationally renowned research groups in computational engineering, at Technical University Darmstadt, in Germany, and at Graz University of Technology and Johannes Kepler University Linz, in Austria. The close cooperation of the partners fosters interdisciplinary collaborations and guarantees the candidates excellent future career opportunities in research and industry.

Candidate profile and requirements:
Applicants must hold a completed master’s degree in (computational, computer, electrical, information, mechanical or software) engineering, (computer, information or material) science, (applied or engineering) mathematics or a related field of study. Students who have not yet finished their masters' degree can apply but must graduate before their appointment. Eligible are persons with a diploma degree (240 ECTS) or a bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) and a master's degree with at least 90 ECTS (in total 270 ECTS).
We expect candidates to have interest (and, ideally, prior experience with) in all fields of the above-mentioned topics. Interest in mathematics and engineering, as well as hands-on experience with programming or experimental work in laboratories is expected.

We offer a minimum annual gross salary based on full-time of € 42.820,40, overpayment possible depending on qualification and experience.
