About the employer

UOC, the world's first online university

The UOC was created in Barcelona in 1994 and teaching began in 1995,

with 200 students. It was the first university ever to run exclusively online. With more than 85,700 graduates, it is now one of the biggest universities in Spain.

Created by the Catalan government, the UOC is a university run privately to provide a

digital-education

public service and facilitates equitable and inclusive access to higher education. We adopted the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as our roadmap.

The UOC’s methodology – its proprietary learning model – is based on three basic elements: learning resources, personalized student support from teaching staff, and collaboration.

The impact of our work

Our goal is to contribute towards the transformation of society and our evolution towards a fairer and more sustainable world. At the UOC you have the opportunity and the responsibility to help build the university of the future.

Do you want to shape the future with us?
