Danube Private University (DPU) in Krems-Stein an der Donau, Lower Austria, is embedded in the Wachau UNESCO World Heritage Site, 60 km from the gates of Vienna and in one of the most attractive regions in Austria.
DPU was the first private university in Austria to receive accreditation for a department of medicine/dentistry. The university can draw on a wealth of experience in undergraduate studies and postgraduate Master of Science in Specialisation (MSc) programmes, and has gained outstanding international recognition. At DPU it is also possible to complete a scientific doctoral degree in dentistry (PhD). DPU also has the right to award habilitations in dentistry.
