Do you have teaching specialisation in creative writing?  We are looking to appoint a Teaching Associate in Creative Writing to work in our team in the School of English at the University of Nottingham.  You would join us on a fixed-term, part time teaching contract for 18 hours per week from 1st January to 30th June 2024.

You will be required to teach creative writing and have a specialism in writing fiction.  You will contribute to a second-year module, Fiction: Forms and Conventions; and a postgraduate module, Learning to Publish. You might also be asked to contribute to other teaching in creative writing as appropriate within the workload allocation of the role.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area of creative writing as well as have evidence of your ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering the above areas. Experience of distance learning teaching is desirable. 

Mentoring towards further career progression will be offered throughout the period of the post.

Selection Process
