The Master of Public Health, Master of Public Health (Global Health) and Master of Public Health (Health Research) courses at the University of Nottingham are seeking to appoint a dynamic Assistant Professor to support the teaching and supervision of the public health postgraduate taught students. You will join an inclusive team of public health academics and educators based at Nottingham City Hospital Campus to support the provision of excellent student support and student experience.
You will need to have experience of designing, developing and delivering high quality teaching materials for postgraduate level education. You will need to have experience of assessing postgraduate level education in a range of methods.
You will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills, including skills to use a range of media. You will have experience in areas aligned to public health, and you will need to have excellent pastoral skills.
You will work with the course director and the course team for the postgraduate public health courses and will provide an excellent level of teaching and learning support.
You will be well supported in your role by a large team of public health and methodology experts and we will support your professional development.
This role is fixed term until 31st December 2023. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 18 hours per week).
