The University of Luxembourg is recruiting:
1 PhD (Doctoral Candidate) position in Economics (m/f)
The doctoral researcher will be a member of the INSIDE research unit (Integrative Research Unit on Social and Individual Development) within the Faculty of Language and Literature, Humanities, Arts and Education at the University of Luxembourg and enroll in the Doctoral School of Economics and Finance.
He/she will work within the research group ‘Economic and Social Well-being’ of the Institute for Health and Behaviour, lead by Prof. Conchita D’Ambrosio. The Institute for Health and Behaviour represents an international team of economists, psychologists, and biomedical scientists who investigate health-related issues in a multidisciplinary approach. The doctoral student will benefit from their experience and will receive all the support necessary for carrying out research.
The doctoral researcher is expected to contribute to research projects related to the measurement of resilience and its effects on individual behaviour. Applicants with particular interest in empirical research using birth cohort, survey or administrative data and in policy evaluation would be given a strong preference.
Master’s degree in Economics (quantitative or research training). Candidates should meet the eligibility requirements of the Doctoral School in Economics and Finance.
