Liège University – ULiege is renowned for its cutting-edge research and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated project manager to join our team. The main task would be to contribute to establish an analytical center of excellence in separation sciences and sensing – ULiege-ACESSS. This center aims to promote ULiege's leading expertise in analytical chemistry. This position is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in the development and promotion of ULiege research excellence, being part and coordinator of cutting edge scientific projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the efforts in setting up the ACESSS platform through three main objectives:
- Coordinate the ACESSS SWOT analysis and map a global view of the situation
- Set up scientific advisory board and organize the audit based on the SWOT analysis
- Establish and manage the working plan to successfully apply for the 2nd phase of funding
- Centralize interactions with ULiege R&I office – RISE.
- Coordinate major funding proposals for Interreg and EU project applications.
- Collaborate closely with the research team and industry partners to drive innovation.
- Actively coordinate new funding opportunities and network extensions to increase the valorization of the Uliege expertise.
- Be a key player to facilitate communication and transversality between ACESSS members.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated managerial spirit and high motivation.
- Hold a master’s degree (or a PhD), ideally in chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Previous project manager experience (or classes) is a plus
- Commitment to full engagement and participation in the project’s objectives.
- Comfortable in French and English
