As part of an assistantship position, the PhD student will perform seminars and practical work at the bachelor and master level related to the Pharmaceutical Botany, Pharmacognosy, Analysis of drugs, Human Nutrition an Pharmacy practice according to the educational coordination of the Faculty.
The research activities of the Unit are related to the development and analysis of new innovative drugs. For this reason, the research activities of the PhD Student will be dedicated to the valorisation and the quality control of products issued from the cultivation of Coffea. This applied research will focused on the two Coffea species present on the mondial market but also new Coffea species. This present research will be done in partnership with other research units of our Faculty, the Botanical Garden of Meise and the partners countries where the Coffea samples are native.

The person will also have to carry out various logistical activities related to the research unit and the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Required educational level: Master level in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences and Bioengineer and satisfying at the admission conditions for a PhD
Teaching and research activities with a view to defending a doctoral thesis (PhD)
- autonomy, flexibility, good organization skills
- rigorousness, proactivity, synthetic mind, ability to perform team work
- good communication skills with various audiences
Preference will be given to pharmacist graduates with affinities or experience in the field of natural products
