The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the ULB is opening a full-time chair in sociology/labour studies including teaching, research and community service tasks.
The successful candidate will participate fully in all supervisory tasks (teaching, supervision of graduate dissertations and PhD students), research and administrative tasks of the Department of Social Sciences and Labour Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences. Scientific expertise in the field of sociology of work attested by high-level publications is required. The candidate must demonstrate a good knowledge of French and English and must contribute to the international influence, scientifically and academically, of Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
The successful candidate will carry out research in the field of sociology of work and will be affiliated to one of the research units of the Institute of Sociology. He/she will be invited to apply for funding from the European Research Council (ERC) as well as any funding and research projects outside the University (FNRS, Regions, Europe, etc.) allowing him/her to develop his/her research. To this end, he/she will benefit from the support of the ULB Research Department.
