The person selected will join the UOC's Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, in a full-time role as part of the psychology team.
Responsibilities:
UOC faculty members promote and direct distance learning in their fields of expertise. Particular attention must be given to the preparation of programmes of study, course contents and teaching materials, as well as the supervision and coordination of students' learning processes. Faculty members are also responsible for driving innovation, especially in terms of methods and techniques used in distance learning and research activities in their fields of expertise.
The person selected will join the UOC's Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences in a full-time role, specializing in the field of personality, psychological assessment and treatment.
The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences is currently working on consolidating the quality of teaching on its existing programmes, and on developing new proposals for postgraduate studies. We are looking for candidates who will contribute to these objectives, specifically in the field of personality, assessment and psychological treatment. Candidates should have experience of university-level teaching in the field of clinical and general psychology. The candidate may be required to teach in both bachelor's degree and master's degree programmes and to contribute to the development and deployment of the new programmes. For this reason, versatility within the field will be a plus. In effect, with our new programmes we are seeking to integrate different theoretical positions from the field of psychology. Training and professional healthcare experience applying an integrative approach and an open attitude towards different theoretical positionings within psychology will be valued highly.
The contract will be permanent and full-time. The successful candidate should be available to start as soon as the recruitment process is completed.
When not working remotely, the workplace will be the UOC's 22@ campus, Rambla del Poblenou, 156, Barcelona. However, at the UOC we mainly work remotely, albeit sometimes on site, as required.
