Open position of university assistant (prae-doc) at the Institute of Building- and Industrial Construction; Research Unit of Integrated Planning and Industrial Building https://www.tuwien.at/en/cee/hib/integral limited to expected 4 years for 30 hours/week. Expected start: September 2024.

Tasks:

  • Teaching in the courses BIM supported Planning, Integrated Planning, Lifecycle cost and -analyis
  • Research cooperation in the researchfield "Digital plattforms for Circular Economy"
  • Collaboration on research and teaching tasks as well as examinations
  • Tutoring and support of students
  • Writing a dissertation and publications
  • Participation in scientific events
  • Assistance/Collaboration in organizational and administrative tasks

Your profile:

  • Completion of a master or diploma curriculum in one of these fields: civil engineering, architecture or interdisciplinary master programmes
  • Experience in the following scientific fields: Digital Design, Building Information Modelling, BIM for Lifecycle
  • Good skills in German and excellent English in writing and communication
  • Interest and dedication to the research in the field as well as supervision and work with students
  • Innovative, curoius spirit, open mind, team player

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,684.10/month gross, 14 times/year for 30 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
