The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a leading school of public health in the Asia-Pacific region. Applicants should have (i) a doctoral degree in public health, health psychology, behavioral health, primary care, family medicine or related disciplines; (ii) working experience in the field of public health related research in behavioural health or health psychology; (iii) a good track record of inter-disciplinary research and publications; (iv) experience in teaching and student supervision; and (v) good teammateship and the ability to work with other members in the School. Collaborative experience and the ability in developing research in different regions will be advantageous.
The appointee will (a) undertake teaching and student supervision; (b) develop and participate in independent and/or collaborative research projects with universities worldwide and/or in the Asia-Pacific region; (c) assist in course development and coordination for undergraduate, postgraduate and ad-hoc training programmes; (d) assist in community service; and (e) undertake related administrative duties.
Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing as soon as possible, which, subject to performance and mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later.
