TH Köln is one of the most innovative universities of applied sciences and a member of the university alliance UAS 7. We offer 25,000 students and 1,000 academics from Germany and abroad an inspiring learning, research and work environment in the fields of engineering and humanities as well as social and natural sciences. TH Köln shapes social innovation - this is our approach to society’s challenges. Due to our interdisciplinary mindset and actions as well as our regional, national and international activities, we are a valued cooperation partner in numerous fields.

Within the framework of the federal-state funding program "FH-Personal", the TH Köln will break new ground in the coming years with the project PLan_CV together with partners from science, civil society, business, culture and politics. We will design and test a new, holistic "personnel development ecosystem" that represents added value for all participants - the job holder, the university, and the practice partners. This model, a novelty in the university landscape, is intended to create more permeability between the employment sectors for academically highly qualified people. In addition to sustainable personnel recruitment for the TH Köln, the more intensive cooperation with our partners from science, business and civil society should also have positive effects on teaching, research and knowledge transfer. The overarching goal is to increase equal opportunities, diversity and compatibility.
