CONTEXT
The position corresponds to education and research in network and systems engineering and management for the design of advanced digital infrastructures. More specifically, it relates to the recent evolution of networks and services enabled by the virtualisation of resources, network services and network functions and the emergence of in-network intelligence.
EXPECTED PROFILE
Research: The new faculty member will contribute to our research objective of building architectures and technologies making these future connectivity and service infrastructures programmable via an open control and management framework. This requires knowledge of wireless and fixed networks, including beyond 5G and 6G networks, as well as experience in service architectures and management.
Teaching: The new faculty member will contribute to our education programs in the networks and the mathematics domains.
A varied research experience and publications with several teams will be appreciated.
