Your tasks
You will participate in the ASIC development of next generation high-speed x-ray detectors with frame rates of several kHz. These detectors use charge integrating or single photon counting readout chips. You will collaborate on the analogue design, test and characterization of the readout ASICs.
As our group philosophy relies on a strong teamwork, you will be able to get an insight in many aspects of detector development, from the design of the individual components of the detector to the pilot experiments at X-ray facilities.
