Full Time, Fixed Term - Researcher

Applications are invited for two Research Fellows (Grade 8 or Grade 9 depending on experience) in the Centre for Psychological Research, Oxford Brookes University.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and build a sustainable research programme and become a leading researcher in your field through a five-year research Fellowship. We are looking for driven early-career researchers with an existing track record to enhance the research already established in the Centre for Psychological Research at Brookes.

Your research should complement our current portfolio, but offer opportunities to expand our expertise.

The Psychology research fellowship is a 5-year research post providing long-term, flexible support to develop an independent research career. We provide high-quality professional development and networking opportunities as well as competitive internal pump-priming and research funding and fully funded studentships.

Research in the Centre for Psychological Research is supported by centralised research governance and commercialisation. We play an active role in University cross-departmental research networks.

You are strongly encouraged to discuss your potential application with researchers within the Centre. Please see the attached Research Synergies document to find additional information pertaining to possible research synergies and collaborations with staff. Feel free to contact Dr. Mark Burgess (mark.burgess@brookes.ac.uk) and/or Dr. Kate Wilmut (k.wilmut@brookes.ac.uk).

How to apply: Please submit your application via the 'Apply for Job' button below and include a cover letter, full academic CV and your 5 year research plan on the template provided detailing your planned route to successfully building an independent research programme
