Research Assistant (f/m/d) Artificial Intelligence for Photo Analysis and Organization

For the next two years and possibly beyond, we are looking for energetic full-time support at our Oldenburg site for our research and development area Society in the "Human-Centered AI" group.

The group "HAI - Human-Centered AI" researches explainable and interactive AI technologies for different user groups and application areas. In a cooperation with a leading company in the photo industry, we research, design and develop innovative digital photo products.

What you enable:

In an interdisciplinary team and together with our project partner, you will design and implement algorithms for image processing based on AI methods with user-friendly operating concepts. In doing so, you will pay particular attention to current scientific findings and technological developments and examine their applicability in practice.

What you bring to the table:

• Above-average degree in computer science, computer science-related engineering, or a related field of study
• Very good knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, ideally with a focus on computer vision
• Good knowledge in the area of user-centered and participative development of interactive systems
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary team
