Senior Researcher - Food Technology


Department Food Technology & Nutrition

Your duties

  • Leading innovative research projects in collaboration with renowned industry partners
  • Conducting and monitoring laboratory and production experiments in our in-house facilities
  • Preparation of scientific publications as well as delivering lectures and presentations to expand our cooperation network
  • Acquisition of research grants and third-party funding
  • Delivering hands-on teaching in both German and English
  • Supervising students in academic research, theses and project work

Your profile

  • PhD in food technology or food sciences, with a strong scientific and technical focus
  • Proven experience in project management and teaching in the higher education sector
  • Deep interest in emerging (research) trends in food technology, such as plant-based nutrition, alternative proteins, clean-label products and similar innovations
  • International focus with a strong interest in innovative, digital and modern education
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Enthusiasm for working with students and a passion for teaching
