In the Geuten Lab we use biochemical and genetic techniques to find leads for improvement of cereal crops. In addition to the crops, we use the model system Brachypodium, related to the cereals, to understand how grasses interact with their biotic and abiotic environment. The Geuten lab is part of the Department of Biology at the University of Leuven (KULeuven), Belgium.
