The Department of Accounting, Finance & Insurance is looking for highly motivated candidates, interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Economics at KU Leuven on topics related to audit and governance.

The empirical governance /audit project will investigate the effect of the different internal and external governance instruments (e.g. board of directors and the auditor) on board effectiveness firm, performance and misconduct.
