We are looking for a vice director for the research center Swedish Wireless Innovation Network (SweWIN). The center aims to make the next-generation wireless technology sustainable, resilient, and fair through 5-10 years of research collaboration between KTH, RISE, Ericsson, Saab, ABB, and smaller Swedish companies.
50% of the job consists of supporting the center director (Prof. Emil Björnson) in the scientific operation of SweWIN. This includes organizing workshops and lectures, disseminating research results on social media and the web, preparing scientific reports, documenting and coordinating research activities, and representing/presenting the center in various contexts.
The remaining 50% consists of conducting research in wireless communication, localization, and radar, with a focus on the physical layer of the protocol stack. The duties both consist of leading one’s own research assignments and supervising students. It also includes applying for research funding to broaden the research activities and acquire academic merits.
