These activities are a part of the Oskar Klein Centre for Cosmoparticle Physics (http://okc.albanova.se/) at AlbaNova University Centre, which provides a prominent and stimulating research environment. The Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (NORDITA) is located nearby.
The main focus for the PhD position is studies of supernova remnants. The work will primarily involve analysis and modelling of observational data. X-ray, optical and other multiwavelength observations will be used.
