“Synthesis and Characterization of Peptide and Polymeric-based Materials for Biosensing Applications”
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Alsulaiman Lab at KAUST. The applicant will focus on the design, synthesis and characterization of peptides and polymeric based materials (including hydrogels) for biosensing applications. The aim of the work is to enable more effective and minimally-invasive technologies for disease diagnosis and monitoring (with a focus on cancer detection by liquid biopsy). The project will involve collaboration with international renowned universities.
The candidate must possess expertise in six techniques listed below. For postdoc applicants: this must be demonstrated through published high-impact peer-reviewed articles. Applicants must have received their PhD degrees within the past 5 years.
