Thematic and research challenges
The digital transformation of industry and more broadly of society has intensified with the advent of "new technologies" such as the Internet of Things, AI, or big data. Similarly, the COVID crisis emphasized the critical role of technologies and Information Systems (IS) in facing and managing this unprecedented pandemic (widespread teleworking, e-health, distance learning, online sales…). In a context of accelerated change, these innovations are frequently understood in a cumulative way without being thought through the socio-professional and organizational transformations that they generate.
Therefore, the aim is to undertake research on the question of organizational and professional transformations induced by digital technology and more specifically on the emergence of new work modes, professional practices and socio-professional mutations.
As a member of ITM Atlantique, research in the social sciences is interdisciplinary and focused on socio-technical systems.
