The Embedded Automotive Systems Group at the Institute of Technical Informatics is seeking a PhD student in the research area "Dependable Embedded Systems". Very good knowledge as well as relevant research achievements in preferably several of the following areas are desired: Design, Implementation, and Verification of Highly Reliable Software for Embedded Systems, especially hardware-related and basic software (operating systems). Of interest are kernel concepts, portability, resource management, maintainability and sustainability, etc. For team collaboration, a deep understanding of embedded hardware architectures (e.g. microcontrollers) is also essential. We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 45,882.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
