YOUR JOB
YOUR TASKS
Post-Doc Position on Ultrafast Pump-Probe Microscopy of Nanomaterials and Opto-Electronic Devices
Your job will be first to build an optical pump – visible probe setup capable of detecting optically induced changes in active micrometer scale devices (such as LEDs, photo-detectors). This will require focusing down the femtosecond light pulses using microscopy techniques to resolve spatial inhomogeneity in the structures. Next to this, you will develop electrical pump – optical probe methods to study the effect of charge injection/extraction on optical losses. Finally, you will be a point-of-contact and mentor for the PhD researchers in the lab (ca. 5 – 10 people) working on ultrafast laser spectroscopy and organize the lab activities.
