YOUR TASKS

Project Framework for Partial Update of the Belgian Guide for Antimicrobial Therapy in Outpatient Practice

  • Project Context
    This project pertains to the partial update of the Belgian Guide for Antimicrobial Therapy in Outpatient Practice. The most recent guide can be accessed here: Belgian Guide 2024.
  • Project Tasks
    The main tasks within this update include:
    • Literature Review: Conducting a comprehensive literature review on the effectiveness and indications of antibiotic use in outpatient practice.
    • Summarizing Scientific Evidence: Collating and summarizing the relevant scientific evidence.
    • Drafting the Initial Guideline Version: Preparing the first draft of the updated guideline.
    • Supporting the Validation Process: Assisting in the validation process to ensure rigor and adherence to current standards.
    • Final Editing: Overseeing and completing the final editorial revisions of the text.
  • Methodological Support
    Throughout this process, you will receive methodological support from the Working Group on Primary Care Development (Werkgroep Ontwikkeling Eerste Lijn), ensuring alignment with evidence-based standards for guideline development.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a Master’s degree or a thesis-based doctorate in medicine, biomedical sciences, pharmacy, nursing or similar competencies
  • You have an interest in literature review and evidence-based guidelines. Experience in literature review or guideline development is highly recommended.
  • You can work independently, structured and accurately

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period from 9 months
  •  Your contract can start immediately
  • The percentage can be discusses: 40%, 50% or 60%
  • Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master’s degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate).  Click here for more information about our salary scales.
