We are looking to recruit a
Take over the management of the successful “Membrane Polymer Synthesis” team in the “Electrocatalytic Interfacial Engineering” department at the renowned HI ERN. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Simon Thiele, our department researches and develops a wide range of topics related to polymer synthesis along the entire process chain. We focus in particular on membrane technology. Our exciting issues include research into and development of PFAS-free, chemically stable cation and anion exchange polymers and membranes for use in water electrolysis and fuel cells. The position is for a fixed term of five years. Salary and social benefits will conform to the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD-Bund) depending on the applicant’s qualifications and the precise nature of the tasks assigned to them.
