The Engineering Design and Computing Laboratory has a fully-funded doctoral position to work on cutting-edge research projects in computational design methods for sustainable and circular design.
With the global urgency to reduce the environmental footprint of all engineered products and systems, you will investigate the development of novel, computational methods to explore solution spaces and find new solutions. A variety of application areas will be investigated including consumer products, machine design and structures. The position also involves teaching assistance in the areas of engineering design, product development and CAD.

The doctoral position is fully funded with a competitive salary according to ETH standards (only a small tuition fee is required at ETH). You will be part of a highly motivated, international team at one of the best universities in Europe.
