In the Urban Energy Systems Laboratory we develop methods and tools to model, design, control and assess energy systems at various scales with a focus on buildings, multi-energy hubs and grids, and integration of renewable energy and storage systems.
PostDoc Position in data driven control across scales in local energy systems
Your tasks
In the framework of NCCR Automation, we are looking for a motivated PostDoc to investigate the coordination of local energy systems to serve multiple use cases and develop data driven decentral control algorithms to facilitate their operation.
Your profile
You are a highly motivated and dedicated candidate with a doctorate in Energy, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering (or related field). You have a scientific track record in data driven control or the on-going energy transition. Programming skills in Python support you in contributing to our on-going software development efforts. Your spoken and written English skills help you navigate our international environment.
