We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our lab of neuroepigenetics at EPFL (http://graefflab.epfl.ch/)!
The main focus of the lab are the epigenetic underpinnings of learning and memory, with a particular emphasis on cognitive disorders such as PTSD and Alzheimer's Disease. Specifically, we are looking for a person with a background in (neuro-) epigenetic research who is proficient in epigenome-related techniques (DNA methylation and/or histone acetylation) and their analysis. Alternatively, the candidate would be an expert in using CRISPR-Cas9 related technologies. If coming from outside the field of neurosciences, the candidate should be willing to delve into the mysteries of the brain!
The contract features a competitive salary in a highly stimulating research environment at the Brain Mind Institute (http://bmi.epfl.ch/) of the School of Life Sciences at EPFL.
EPFL itself is located in Lausanne on the shores of Lake Geneva, facing the Swiss and French alps. Living standards are among the highest worldwide.
If you are interested, contact us (@ email@example.com) with your CV, your list of publications, a letter of motivation outlining your research interests and why you want to join the lab, as well as the contact details of three references.
