Location: Doha, Qatar
The Master of Development Economics (MDE) program prepares researchers and professionals to pursue careers in research institutions, international organizations, non-government institutions, and/or pursue higher education. The program puts strong emphasis on economic development theory, practice and policy. The program aims to advance the learning and research capacity of diverse Arabic speaking students using theoretical, quantitative and qualitative methods and tools.
Qualifications and Experience:
· PhD degree in one of the following areas: Economics, Economic Development or any related disciplines.
· Excellent record of research and publication and a proven record of excellence in teaching, preferably at the graduate level.
· Priority will be given to candidates specialized in the fields of public economics, public finance, macroeconomics, and/or economic development
The ability to teach in both Arabic and English. Both languages are recognized as languages of learning and research at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.
